As co-chairs, PD Dr Carmen Jochem (University of Bayreuth) and Dr Michaela Coenen (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich) organised a symposium on "Planetary Health - Teaching and Teaching Research for Healthy People on a Healthy Planet". The symposium aimed to discuss planetary health in teaching and teaching research from the perspectives of various health professions in order to promote its implementation at universities. Five speakers reported on best practice examples from the study programmes Public Health, Human Medicine, Midwifery, Social Work and Environment, Climate Change and Health.
