Global Health
Global Health is concerned with global challenges faced by healthcare systems worldwide. These include the challenges posed by pandemics and global health inequalities, as well as transnational transnational influences of globalization on health, such as digitalization, international migration and the impact of transnational corporations. However, global health also includes global goals, such as Universal Health Coverage or the reduction of child and maternal mortality as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Chair ist part oft he German Alliance for Global Health Research and the Global Health Hub Germany. Prof. Quentin is leading a DAAD funded project establishing a German West-African Centre for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention (G-WAC) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.
